3. Klassen auf Entdeckungsreise durch die Stadt<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Am 15. und 17. Juni 2021 tourten die 3.C bzw. 3.D Klassen getarnt als amerikanische Tourist:innen <\/span>
durch die Linzer Innenstadt um historische Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten und Geb\u00e4ude zu finden und deren <\/span>
Hintergr\u00fcnde zu erkunden. Ihre Aufgabe: Einen Blog-Beitrag f\u00fcr einen amerikanischen Reisef\u00fchrer \u00fcber <\/span>
die Stadt Linz und ihre historisch wertvolle und interessante Altstadt und die Menschen, die sich dort <\/span>
aufhalten. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hier gibt es ein paar Eindr\u00fccke davon zu lesen:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Today we are in Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. At first we were visiting the \u201eMartinskirche\u201d. This <\/span>
church was first recorded in 799, so it\u2019s the oldest church in Austria. The special thing is that there <\/span>
are Roman tombstones from the 3rd century. After that we went to the Schlossmuseum. There are <\/span>
many exhibitions, for example sculptures of animals. From there we went to the <\/span>
\u201cLandhausbr\u00fccke\u201d where we saw excavations of a stone arch bridge from 1632. Next we went to a <\/span>
very famous house in Linz, it\u2019s the \u201cMozarthaus\u201d which got its name because the famous composer <\/span>
Mozart wrote a whole symphony there. The \u201cPests\u00e4ule\u201d in Linz was built to honor the Trinity and the <\/span>
virgin Mary out of gratitude for the liberation from the plague, the rescue from the dangers of war as <\/span>
well as the protection from a great fire. After that we went to the \u201cKremsm\u00fcnstererhaus\u201d which was <\/span>
built by Christoph Canevale. The special thing about this house is that it shows <\/span>
a Kremsm\u00fcnsterer monastery coat of arms from 1710. Next to that there is the <\/span>
\u201cLinzer Markthalle\u201d which used to be the city\u2019s weighing scale and a witness house, it was also built in <\/span>
1524. We also asked a few shop owners around there how the past year was for them and many said <\/span>
they found it awful because of the pandemic. They all really didn\u2019t like the measures that came with it. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
