Once upon a time…
… a group of 24 students travelled to Hamerling castle. They spent a marvellous time there, visiting various magical rooms full of stories of the world, music and creatures of the forest. The students loved learning about all these new things. But the fun and great times ended when they entered a dark and gloomy room. A witch was sitting in the corner and was staring at them. When she started speaking, the kids realised that she was from a foreign country. „You’ve reached the end of your trip, hahahaha. I am really sorry, but you will never leave this room again,“ the witch said with a scratchy voice. The children were really scared. They could not believe what they had just heard. „Unless you write a fairy tale for me. If I like your story, you may leave“.
And in the end, four students managed to leave the room again. These are their stories.
THE ROSE
A long time ago, there lived a beautiful princess named Paradise. But she was no ordinary girl, she was the princess of the water and the storms.
She was in love with a human prince, but Paradise could not be with him, because she was cursed and if she was with someone, the person would get cursed too. The young lady was very sad because she could not marry her true love.
But one day, the princess had an idea. She went to the old witch’s hut because she knew the witch could help her. When the young lady got there, she noticed a lot of cobwebs, but Paradise did not mind them. She knocked and the door opened. There was the witch, who looked old and grumpy and had many wrinkles. The princess told her everything, about her love and her curse. Then the witch said, “I have a magic rose and mirror. If you put the rose through the mirror, your prince will get it and he’ll instantly fall in love with you.” Paradise was skeptical but agreed and then she went home with the things the witch gave her.
As soon as the princess had arrived at home, she did what she had been told to do. The girl saw everything through the magic mirror. She saw how the prince took the rose and how he sniffed it. The princess blinked, and as soon as she looked back into the mirror, her love wasn’t there anymore. An ugly, hairy beast was standing on that exact spot instead. Suddenly Paradise knew what had happened. She flew with her long wings to the witch’s hut as fast as she could.
When the princess got there, the witch was already waiting for her.
After the girl had finished screaming at her, the old witch said, “To prove your true love, you must step into the mirror and kiss him.” Paradise hesitated for a second, but agreed, accepted her destiny and flew back home.
After the princess had arrived at the castle, she ran up to her room, took the mirror and stuck her finger into it as a first attempt. After that she put her whole body through it. Then the girl was in the prince’s room.
Suddenly she heard a low grumbling noise and then loud heavy footsteps that were coming towards her. She braced herself and stood in front of the beast. The beast didn’t look so scary anymore, in fact, he actually looked friendly.
Paradise walked up to the beast and kissed him. As they kissed, the beast turned back into a handsome young man. As soon as the prince saw her, he instantly fell in love with her. After that they became a couple and a few years later they got married and became King and Queen.
Now they are living a happy life with their children.
You might be wondering what happened to the old witch? She was banned from the kingdom and is still looking for a new home.

THE REBELLION FOREST
A long, long time before our time, there was a bad human king. He bullied the tree people. The tree people said, “We have to kill the human king!” But one of the tree people was a spy and he warned the bad king. The knights of the king were sent out to attack the tree people. The forest people shot nuts at the army but not everyone attacked the king. A small group of them searched for the exotic magical beans. The beans were the stairs to the kingdom of the fairies. The fairies were really good friends with the tree people. The tree people went to the holy forest. People from all kingdoms were living in the forest. Among them were old mini tree people. They were the guards of the eight magical beans. The tall young tree people said, “The human king has bullied us for ten years. It is over, we have to kill the king!” The oldest tree people said, “Yes, we saw that the human king has attacked the forest again and again. We will give you one bean!” “Thank you,” said the tree people. When the tree people went to a good place to plant the beans, there was the spy of the bad human king and said, “Can I go to the battlefield with you?” “You are a spy, aren’t you?” said the good tree people. “Yes, why do you know that?” asked the spy. The tree people answered, “We won’t go to the battlefield.” After this reply the spy ran away from them. On a good field, the good tree people placed the bean on the ground. Fifteen minutes later there was a big bean bush in the sky. They went up the tall bush and saw the big fairy mountain and forest. Then they arrived at the fairy king. The tree people told of their situation and the king said, “Yes, I will send more fairy knights for the attack.” When the people arrived back home, the war was already over. There was a huge victory party. All’s well that ends well!
